I've just been confirmed with a reservation for late June 2010. My request wasn't so different from yours. I'm not in the food industry but I certainly spoke of my love of food and passion for wine as well as being given the day in the life book for christmas and how excited I would be to try the food for real. We had a holiday already booked during the season so I was able to give very specific date requests too. Not sure if it helped at all but I also wanted a table for four. I understand that the bulk of requests are for tables for two so it may have helped wanting a larger table. I also wrote some of my request in Catalan. Again, no idea if this helpd or not but I though it would show that at least I had done some research. Hope this helps some others secure a reservaton for the 2011 (and possibly last) season.
